Default Anyone know how to fix this? pics

My bumper has been ripped off at least 3 times and nobody seems to be able to put it back on straight. As you can see, the black part is not flush with the fender. The whole bumper looks like it is looking up at an angle and I've been told by my friends that my fogs are extremely bright...to the point where they have to squint when they look in the rearview. I've seen other rams with bumpers like this so I know I'm not the only one.

Yikes, time for tires and an alignment!

i have the same problem...so just an FYI, i tried bending the arms that go to the frame, and it made it a bit worse....once i get some time and money, and if i dont sell the truck, im going to take the bumper off, and try to replace the brackets...i feel thats the reason...

or the bumper itself is warped.

Isn't the bumper adjustable (to an extent??)?? Could you loosen the bolts (I know there are a bunch of 'em....) put it where ya want it, and tighten it back up?

I've looked under there to see if there was something to adjust and there seems to be a long bumper bracket that goes from the bumper to the frame. I'm just afraid if I unbolt them to try and adjust the bumper I'm gonna make it worse. If a body shop can't get it right 3 times I'm afraid of what I might do.

Dude you really can't make it worse. I have taken my bumper off numerous times, it can only get so bad. I'm replacing mine so I really don't care how it's on right now. There are four brackets (two up front and one on each side). You need to adjust them so it sits how you want it. It really isn't that hard, just really annoying because you have to keep readjusting it till you get it just right. If you took it to a body shop and they couldn't fix it then your brackets are ruined or they just don't know what they are doing.

Here is what the front bracket looks like:

I would really hope they used new brackets after the last time they replaced it. The bumper is new and I'm fairly sure it came with new brackets. I'll go out and mess around with it when it cools off.

Its only really adjustable on the middle two brackets, and only where it connects to the frame.

You can adjust it left or right a little on the front part of the two middle brackets, but not up or down. Where it connects to the frame is how you'd fix that.

Body shops don't necessarily "don't know what they are doing", they just might not care enough to get the bumper lined up exactly right, because they aren't as picky about it since they don't own the vehicle. Mine are still off a tad, and I had a body shop do mine last.

It is possible the brackets are bent. Mine were and had to be replaced to get it anywhere near centered, but they are very inexpensive if you know where to shop.

Here's what I did with my sport bumper. I'm not sure if it would be the same with yours or not.

I have the same problem, but only on the passenger side. On my dakota what I did was loosen the bolts on the side that was drooping a bit, then took a long 4X4 and hydraulic jack and jacked up that side until it was even then tightened up the bolts and dropped the jack. Bumper hasnt drooped since.
