Default Swapped my seats today *pics*

Well I was bored today and outside enjoyin the sun with the kids, so I thought I'd swap my seats to hide the tear that develops on the drivers seat. I've seen a couple guys on the forum do this so thanks to them for the idea

Such an easy job, 4 10mm bolts on each seat cushion to remove, then just swap em and bolt em back down. Total time: 20 mins, Tools used: 1/4" ratchet, 10mm socket, and 10mm wrench. <---there's my DIY lol

The tear

Driver seat removed... oh yeah, I put an amp there lol
you can see the 2 front tabs where they bolt down, and the rear boltholes are right behind the latch mechanisms... you can also see a couple bolts too, they are silverish coloured...

passenger side removed

both out

They are shaped a tiny bit different at the back, but doesn't hinder this swap at all

my helpers maybe holdin down the seats so they don't walk away?

All done! No more (visible) tears!!

mod of the century?!?!

Slick idea!

The original owner of my truck was a fat bastard so the driver's seat is broken down, but I don't dare to make such a swap because the wife would kick me into the next county.

That's been my experience with seat covers. The sort of seat covers that truckers talk about on the CB radio, anyway.
