I can't get the harmonic balancer not to turn. I need to make a chain wrench to hold it tight.

Use a screwdriver, or crowbar to hold the flywheel in place. Just stick the pointy end into the teeth for the starter.

If your starter is installed, you can use it to turn the motor over while a breaker bar is on the nut and up against the frame. I have done it a couple times... It's super safe!

I got an impact wrench should pop it off tomorrow morning. I have a hundred things to do tomorrow and not enough daylight to do them all.

he'll be back , he might have a lot going on. As much HELL as he's been through with that truck , he might have put the project to the side for a while..
I wish he would have done that swap into a 3rd Gen Ram. It would have been so much easier.. I think a lot of the headache started with changing the complete dash harness and stearing column instead of using what was there..
Hopefully , He'll get back on it soon...
