So it fires with starter fluid if you hold the key and crank it with the throttle open but then it dies when you stop cranking. So it won't start thought it was bad gas so I drained the tank that wasn't it. Thought it wasn't getting fuel but it is. I have the lightning bolt and the little red light flashing. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm wondering of the computer I have running it came off a transponder vehicle and my trucks key doesn't have a skim. I did have a transponder but I disconnected it.

red light is for the security system..so you have no skim module or grey headed key correct?what year pcm do you have?and is it the original that came with your wreck?
