Default DF, Identify these parts!

Ok first up is this little guy here. It comes off the headlight harness on the pass side, right behind the HL. Just an empty connector over it. I thought maybe it was for plow lights, but I guess dads 99 2WD has it too, and I highly doubt his has a plow package...

Next is this... under the center console. I think this is the rollover sensor, amirite?

Now I know what this is, distribution block for my rear brakes, but why is there a vent hose coming from the top of it? And how the hell would a vent line work on a closed system like the brake lines?? This had me a little baffled...

I followed the end up beside the frame and it has a vent cap on it...

rearend's view..... since I was layin under there anyways

There was no plow prep for a 1500.

I don't have anything under my center console. Might be something from the previous owner?

the hose is a vent hose for the axel I think I saw another post on it earlier this week. the plug behind the light housing is a mystery as far as I know a lot of trucks have them and I don't think anybody knows what its for and I have no idea about the center console one. hope I helped and I hope im not wrong. please tell me if I am.

no that hose definitely doesn't come from the axle, that's what I thought at first, but it's right on that block... seems strange to me... And the unit under the console looks factory to me, there's even a factory looking mounting brace for it...

O.K....I think (per haynes manual) plug is for daytime running lights, just a partial install of the system that makes sense for mass production. and that is a vent tube for the rear axle, if you take it apart you will see, if you take the hose off, the junction block is slid over a tube coming from the axle housing. under seat is auto shut down relay.

Check the color of the wires in the plug in question and compare to the FSM wiring diagrams to figure out what that plug is. If its just red and black wires, its probably aftermarket.

I'm canadian, I already have the DRL's, I just pulled the fuse for them... so shouldn't be that

And that is verrry crafty of ol Dodge to do that vent like that.... I couldn't for the life of me figure out how that could be a vent for the brake system hahaha...

aim I don think its aftermarket, looks like factory riggin to me.... but good idea about checking the diagrams, gonna do that and let yas know
