Does your Ram shake at idle?
Does you Ram shake at idle? Mine has done this for years. Just kind of shakes. I'm wondering if it's a miss fire. I thought it was just because it was a V8 and how they ran. However, I'm wondering now. When my Accord 4cylinder had a miss it shook about like the Ram does at idle. The Ram gets about 12.5-13mpg all the time, but it does feel way slower than it should. Seems slower than others Rams do from watching videos. It also doesn't throw any codes though. So does your shake at idle or is it smooth?
This is how it runs while I'm on the gas.

BTW I've done two tune ups since this and neither has fixed it or made a change. So if I do have an issue it's probably something else.

Smooth, what plugs are you running. Have you cleaned your engine out at all? Wires crossed? Are they routed correctly per the TSB? Cap nd rotor looking fine?
I had a misfire after a tech failed to put one of my wires on the dist. fully. There was a lot of shaking, and you could feel it everytime the cylindar didnt fire.
Crap you be me with your second post before i could get this out.

Whens the last time you changed the timing chain?
Also, exhaust leaks can cause the O2 sensor to go a little wonky. Moisture can cause that in the ignition system. Dielectric grease does wonders there.

Never done the timing chain and have 136k miles. I thought you didn't have to replace those? Don't have an exhaust leak and I changed the o2 sensors with the cat about 35k miles ago. I'm running MSD wires and Champion Platinum plugs with a Napa Dist cap and rotor. I ran the stock plugs with the last tune up. I've also done the pleneum, magnaflow cat, etc. Wires aren't crossed either and no vacuum leaks that I'm aware of. BTW I used Dielectric grease when I did the tune up.
Mine trembles a bit right after cold start but smooths out nicely even before it switches to closed loop operation. Once it goes closed loop you have to look at the gauges or turn off the stereo to know it's running.
A rough idle is one of the hardest things there is to troubleshoot. Tune-up parts, wrong plugs, sticky IAC motor, failed IAT sensor, wonky 02 sensor, timing chain slack, gunky injectors, vacuum leaks...
If it cleans up and runs smoothly with just a wee bit of throttle opening, I'd clean the IAC first just because it's easy and right next to free.
