Angry Extra parts? WTF!

I decided to get some work done on my truck. Plenum Fix, Dist. Cap &rotor, plug cables, kegger mod, rebuilding transmission. I have alot of friends in the auto tech program, and they would help me for free. There was a total of 7 people working on my truck at different times, some I didnt even ask to help.

Aside from the coolant temp. sensor breaking off inside the manifold, no real big problems. Well the engine is put back together, and I have a ziplock bag of extra parts.....****.

Also there is a ground connection in the top left hand corner of my engine bay near the PCM. There are 3 grounds but only 2 are connected to something. Ill take a pic as soon as I get out of class. Does any body have an idea where that ground should go?

A bunch of bolts, some black brackets, some hoses.

As for the ground, you said the back of the head. Can you give me a little more details about the location.

LOL, this is going to be good! Never use a mechanic that hands you extra parts.

Take pics of the parts and post them up, we'll tell you where they go.

My guess is they left the A/C bracket and alt brackets off, and probably didn't reconnect a ground or 2, but we'll see.

check the back end of your valvecovers, there should be a ground strap to one of the vc bolts I believe

Yeah the valve cover gaskets were replaced, so thats probably it. But here are some pics of the grounds that are loose. This is not to the alternator or the compressor. Idk what it goes to.

the first pic goes to the passenger side rear on the valvecover bolt.

The second one goes on a bolt that goes into the drivers side head. If you follow that cable down in between the head/intake valley, it will go somewhere on the front of the engine in a bolt that foes into the head.

Do everything yourself next time. Those guys were crap.

On a side note....I had ground cable issues as well and upgraded the gauge of all my grounds and the trucks electrical seems to be much better.
