What year was the wiring harness you used? What year is the Durango PCM?

And yes, running your V-8 on six cylinders IS going to feel like crap. Be lucky if you can get it to move the truck at all.

 

the durango is a 2000 and not sure on the v8 harness that i used but the pin outs where all the same as my v6 we traced all the wires. but on the durango the wires that control the fuel injectors go to a separate plug in not the pcm im guessing i need to get a ram pcm for the v8/ "but there pricy"

 

Check the local junkyards. You might get lucky.

 

i have a 5.9 auto pcm at work from an 01 if you get your production date im sure we can work out a deal for it
