Is it a PA body lift if so good, just helped a friend with his on a ranger and it was easy and the kit came with everything needed and instructions that had every little detail included, hope you got some time set aside for it.

Did you get both front and rear bumper brackets?

Start by not installing it. Thank God they're trying to outlaw those gaudy things in California. One of the only good laws in a while.

Lol no. We build real suspension here instead of just lifting the body with sketch plastic blocks.

well were are not talkin about suspension lifts no are we? so you can put blocks on a suspension lift but you cant put blocks under the body to get some more inches? seems kinda like the same thing to me, rather it be metal or plastic, suspension or body, its all servin the same pupose, not all of us live in the OC and can afford to have a custom 11" lift built.

Block lifts are even worse, they cause things like axle wrap and damaged leaves. The best mod for any Ram with the 4dubs is to remove that silly block Chrysler installed at the factory.
What is "the OC"? Why do people like to call poophole Orange County that? Lift is for sissies who are compensating, wheel travel is for real men.

Ah, but you quickly reach the point on a stock truck, that if you want more travel, you need to lift. Also, a fair number of the lifts do indeed increase wheel travel.

Body lifts aren't my preferred method of lift, as all you get is room for bigger tires, and that's it. The problems that come with them deter me. They do have the advantage of being cheaper than a suspension lift, to a certain extent..... (there are fairly inexpensive 3in. lifts out there, but, they have blocks for the rear, and I simply will NOT stack blocks. Very bad idea.)

Rear blocks aren't my favorite either, for just the reasons you mention. Giving the axle a longer lever to tweak springs with just doesn't seem like a good idea to me, but, Chrysler, in their infinite wisdom.... installed them anyway. I always new engineers hated people in general, and mechanics in specific anyway.
