Default does my truck have an egr?

im thinking about getting an airgap... and wondering if i will need to do any modding or if it will be a direct bolt on

Look and see if there's an EGR port on the back of the manifold next to the oil pressure sender. If you don't know what it looks like. Then google it.

All I know about the airgap is its 600 bucks, but on a 97 you should not have an egr, last year for them was 95

There are some 97's on here (DF) that have an EGR and other's that don't. But I do agree with you that more likely then not, it's not an EGR kegger.

I didn't even notice that...he only waited a minute before he bumped his thread. Kids now-a-days.

haha ive seen people "bump" when they didnt have any replies. didnt even know what "bump" meant... gave it a try and hey it works! lol
