what do you need links for? Are you that uneducated that you didnt watch the news for the 3 months the explorers were rolling over? Have you never read anything about transmittions? I dont need to post links to these things for you to know im right, pull your head out of your *** and get a clue

But from here on out, your on my ignore list, have a nice life
What is a transmittion? A Pinto did not blow up when hitting a pot hole. It is a known fact that Dodge quality is absolutely terrible. Dodge's paint is of poor quality, The rear ends are weak, and the transmissions are horrendous.
I completely agree!

He shouldn't have to provide proof for such a silly argument. Some poor guy's truck is wrecked and your capitalizing on his missery and stirring the pot just to get a reaction. I know plenty more fords and chevs, especially chevs with bad paint. Pinto's could blow if they hit a big bump hard enough, what about all the chevy trucks that exploded when T-boned because of their gas tanks ? And mechanics don't call Explorers, Exploders for no reason.

Pinto's could and will not blow up if they hit a bump hard enough, the fuel sending unit was replaced and they don't explode anymore.

On the other hand a Dodge tranny may blow up at any time and the clutch plate may come up through the floor and knock you unconsious.

There are lots, I know of several for sure but they are all manuals. I will admit I made sure my Dodge had a manual because I don't like automatics because they are ALL weak. In a car they are great, I just don't think they are tough enough to be in a truck that does any work, or hard playing at all.

You know what it is right? Its the fact that Dodge uses the same tranny in the Dakota's, the Ram's, and the Durango's. Why would a auto company use a small pickup truck tranny in their full size trucks?
