engine swap question

one engine is internally balanced and the other is externally balanced..im pretty sure you'll have to use the 96 injectors..and the wiring harness is set up for a communication bus system all the plug in's are different..use all the sensors including the crank sensor from the 96 too id recommend pulling it before you pull the motor to avoid breaking it..

alright well what about the flywheel 96 or 00? and i can use my pressure plate and clutch disc off the 318 correct?

either or will work as long as there for a 360 they fit a number of years and yes clutch is the same.

alright so the enigine swap is done and the truck is running good a little more in depth then i thought but neway..now slight prob i have no radio ,door chime, or dome lights now sunday night when i first fired it up i could have sworn i did but i was tired now if i put a fuse in it pops instanly theres no wires pinched or nothing any ideas? id even wire the radio in to the ignition switch but i took power to what i thought was the power on the cd player but no go. ps i hate wireing probs im not good at wiring probs so any ideas will b helpful

Need to check the various circuits on that fuse, and see if anything presents itself. Wiring diagrams in the FSM available in the FAQ section might help....

the simplest way if your not into electrical problems is to eliminate things one by one..start by unpluging the radio then popping in a new fuse..if the fuse doesnt pop there's a really good chance there's a issue with your radio..and go from there..eliminate things one at a time

yea ive been trying to elimainate things but nothing works it all fuse pops as soon as i turn ignition on or sometimes it dosnt pop and still nothing im going to wire another cd player in 2day maybe my cd players just junk
