lockin out hub conversion?

Unless you have the skills and the tools (welder) it would be much cheaper, and easier, to buy the conversion kit. Now if it were me, then again, I am a sucker for punishment and a cheap skate, I would try to replace the "C's" and use Ford stuff from the knuckle out. But once again, I have the skills and tools to do this.

So about a grand to get rid a trouble free 4x4 system, ($200 for posi-lok cable aswell). Might just get this kit and a cable as a birthday present to myself.

You dont need a posi lock kit. Get the one piece shaft and completely do away with the CAD.

Sure, its possible in that sense... but totally not worth it. And most people do not have the tools nor skills to do such a modification.
