Stock RT heads will be GREAT with that cam. The specs on them are pretty much the same as the KRC RV cam:

But since KRC is no longer in business, this cam has the same specs:

The owner of that company is a member of this forum. Rich.

congrates on the heads.thats a steal imo.i would widdle on them alittle to get flow rates up.out of the box the castings rough but they clean up nicely and flow well for an iron head.stock heads are good to 400 crank but they crack.these are the factory's next level up from that.good luck

I totally forgot to answer your head question

The 5.9 magnum has less lift than the 5.2. .410 at the intake. With 1.7 rockers, that's around .436 lift. Heads that Flow really well in that area would be optimal, whether they be 2.02 Valves or 1.92 valves. Whatever flows best around low to max lift. It doesn't matter if they flow great at .550 or .600 because your valves will never see that.

You have long tubes, so that should be great for scavenging, so flow at low lift is important. Make sure the heads get at least a 3 angle valve job and I'd ask for "racing" valves that have had the base of the stem shaved a bit for max flow down low.
