Default How much should it cost?

Got a new cat off eBay today wondering how much it should cost me to have a shop cut it off and weld the new one on? Also for the old one should i ask for it back or just give it to them?

Should be around 50 bucks +-10$. With it being a 95 it should have platinum in it instead of a ceramic catalyst and there are guys putting ads in the paper and on craigslist all the time saying that they buy old cats for anywhere from 50-100$ so they can sell it for the platinum inside. So If it does have platinum in it then you should ask for it back.

There have been few areas around the country that have had a problem with guys hacking them off peoples cars in parking lots, so if you get enough of them then you can make a good little chunk off em.

Oh hell yeah, people in my town do that **** to. It should only cost about 30-50 bucks depending on where you go. There is a place in my town called walker tire and exhaust, i went there to get an straight pipe from the headers for my dakota put on for around $75 i thought it was pretty cheap.

Or, if you live out in the country and you know a nice friend that is a farmer, who can give you access to his wielder than take an advantage and do it your self.

Welding is always a nice thing to know. You aren't born knowing it, so you gonna learn somehow.
