300 bucks for 1/2 horsepower is a net loss in my book.Ill just leave my spare at home if I need a little boost. They do make a big difference in towing. Its called overheating. The best electric wont top a fan clutch when it comes to moving air.But they do look pretty,if your into that. And I dont think you could laugh that *** off

Hey, easy there, he is entitled to his own opinion. Nothing wrong with sticking with the factory clutch fan. A member on here went 448,000 miles on a completley stock Ram, so I don't think a clutch fan is going to hurt reliability. I also wouldn't poke fun at peoples financial situations, he never said he couldn't afford 275 dollar e-fans, he just decided not to.

Your not gaining just 1/2 of a HP, lmao. Your a joke.

Air Conditioning will Blow Colder

Strong, Durable Nylaglass Torch Red Cages

Strong, Durable Nylaglass Balance Curved "S" Cyclone Blades

Sealed Weatherproof Motors with Twin Ball Bearings

Lifetime Warranty

Fully Adjustable Thermostatic Control Module*

Set the Fans to Come on at the Specified Temperature of Your Choosing from 125 degrees to 230 degrees

A/C Circuit that Brings the Fans on Automatically Once the Air Conditioning is Turned on

Encased Fuse for Full Protection

Removable and Replaceable Relay

Sealed and Weatherproof Unit

Color Coded Wiring for Easy Installation

Mounting Installation Kits

4 Mounting Feet (per fan) that Attach to the Fan Cage

4 Nylon Mounting Straps (per fan) to Keep the Fan as Close to the Radiator as Possible for More Efficient Cooling and Better Performance

4 High Temperature Silicone Shock Rings (per fan) to Protect the Radiator Fins

4 Lock Discs (per fan) to Secure Everything in Place

They add more than what you think bud. You wouldn't know because you have never seen them in action. My friend has them in is 2005 Dodge 2500 Power Wagon 4x4, and they make a huge difference in his MPG's and HP and TQ. Especially when he is pulling his gooseneck trailer with 12,000+ LBS in the back biitch!

Jbomb, how is that 408 running for you now? Get everything squared away? Would you do it all over again after going trough all those problems?

Jbomb, are you running those fans in place of the clutch fan? I wouldn't suggest that. I think A 408 will make more heat than neon fans can displace.

I think most guys running 408s I've talked to run a V10 radiator and fans rated for diesel engines.

Here's an idea: stop ridiculing others opinions by calling them a joke and speculating on the financial positions, especially when your source is an advertisement for a product. Come back with some data instead of "my friend has" crap and have a meaningful discussion. And stop using the b-itch word when you address someone else, makes you sound like a friggin' 19 yr old high school dropout.

Frickin' noobs around here, always a$$holes the first 1-6 months after they join up then you never hear form them again.
