So im gonna put a cold air intake in my truck. Does that mean I need a Air Filter and a Cold Air Intake?

Or if im getting a Cold Air intake do i not need a air filter?

If i need both then im getting them from K&N

The CAI comes with the conical filter. At least, every one I've ever seen advertised has, and the K&N FIPK certainly does.

If you want the best price on the K&N, hunt around for a while to find the lowest price you can on the web outside of auction sites, and AutoAnything (a site sponsor, in the right-hand navigation) will beat it by ten bucks. That's how I got mine.

I am in the process of building my own "Cold Air intake", When I finish, I'll post up on the forum.

Currently I'm up to $69 In parts.
