Still great for a cold air intake though.

BS on the bottom not sealing. If you have a gasket on there, then it will seal. Also, then you could say the same thing about the air hat that AIM is making.

THat Spectre air hat will seal. HOWEVER< it will not fit. The drop base will not clear the throttle bracket.

Your probably going to need a new tune with this btw
At freeway speeds it will be running lean

I will definitely keep an eye on the A/F ratio on the highway.

Hemifever is probably sick of me by now.

I was really surprised how much the O2 and PCM can compensate for changes. When I added the 22lbs FMS injectors. Around town and part throttle, the A/F gauge stayed right around 14.3, where it was with stock injectors. It wasn't until WOT where the o2 is ignored that the A/F ratio dropped to 11.3 untuned.

I want to see this mounted on the engine. What kind of performance gains come with this setup?

5.2 & 5.9 react different obviously.
Any idea how much rwhp you are/were making?

I was surprised how poorly the MP PCM was compensating
My first time on the dyno I didnt get wb 02 readings.
Kicked my butt for not getting wb readings after seeing 270rwhp. (stk inj/MP PCM only)
I had tried running FMS 24lb inj prior but had fuel dripping out the exh at idle so yanked them.
Returned to the dyno for wb readings with stk inj & they shut down first pull cause 4500rpm it was 14.8 & climbing. 3-4k rpms was just above 14.0.
After seeing that I added a/f gauge with wb 02, SMT6 & put the FMS24lb back in..
I had to pull a bunch of fuel out at the lower rpms & lighter loads & added a bit of fuel from 4800rpm to 5400rpm.

Hmmm...I had 24# FMS injectors in my 1996 5.2 with the Mopar Performance PCM. I never had fuel dripping out the exhaust (Great place for a spark plug!!!).

But it did run crazy rich at idle and low RPMs. I had the MSD ignition there as well, so maybe that helped a bit.
