Egr & headers ***help***
I have a set of Pacesetter long tubes that have arrived and i will be installing them in the next couple of weeks. For the past month or so I have been spraying my cast manifold bolts with penetrator to have better luck taking the old bolts out and noticed that I have an EGR Valve that is hooked to the passenger side manifold down by the firewall . I am not at home to see if the headers have a port for that but I will assume that it does not. My Question is ...."Can I delete the Egr by unplugging the electrical and covering that port with a bolt on plate....and will it still run right? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
i did an EGR delete along with a Smog and vacuum delete on my old mazda. Not 100% sure about on a dodge, It might throw a code but i dont see it hurting anything.
Others please correct me if im wrong

forgot to mention, some of the longtubes i have seen before have had EGR ports as well as o2 ports. I have short tubes so im not to familiar with long tubes but you might want to look at them and double check
