Default hughes air gap

any one have a stock un molested intake they will ship me for the cost of shipping?

Got the new cam in. Runs great nice and cool.

Still inital performace is low.

Still thinking intake.

Mopar action just installed this intake on there drag dakota and had the same resluts I did. Suck *** low end. and only gained 1/10th in the quarter. It moved the whole torque curve up unlike what we are told.

So going to change back to the stock intake and see what the performance does.

Anyone got one?

Would need to be shipped to dallas texas area

I will have one here in the not so distant future.... will need the plenum fixed though. (I went out and bought another manifold to 'molest', and put the hughes plate on. Makes the swap easier, and less down time for the truck.)

What year is your truck? Mine is a 96, no EGR, two temp sensors in coolant passage at the front.

I think the current plan is, to do the swap sometime next week.... My van just decided that is was thirsty for brake fluid, and I don't have a clue where it is going... Need to figger that out, before I dismember the truck. Lemme know if you win the auction. If ya don't, I will have a manifold available soon.

What cam specs did you go with & is it installed straight up or advanced?
Did you increase the tc stall rpm to match the cam?

cam is straight up. And here is the thing. Truck had the low end you see in the video untill i replaced the intake then the low end went to crap. Going to change back to stock and see what it does. Brought it up on the converter(same converter as before) then let off and nailed it and it smoked them all through first while i was feathering the gas trying to keep it off the rev limiter. And it was 105 outside. The airgap moves the torque curve up higher in the rpm range and that proves it enough to me to swap back and test it out at least.
