Edelbrock Intake Manifold
I'm thinking about installing an Edelbrock Intake Manifold (7577) instead of doing the plenum fix, has anyone installed this intake manifold on their on ride? and if so what differences did you notice? Thanks
That is a four barrel manifold, with no provisions for the fuel injectors, you will either need to go carbed, which will be a real exercise, as you will need an ignition system as well.... or, have the manifold modified to accept the injector bungs. Not cheap.
Might be cheaper to go with the Dodge M1, or Hughes AirGap manifold.

That's one of 'em. Yes. Keep in mind, that is a single plane manifold, and moves the power band further up the rpm range, you will lose a good bit of bottom end with that style of manifold.
i didn't know you could get one that cheap.
so why do you lose bottom end ? you're talking about lower rpm torque? correct.
lol, i'm not sure i've got any to lose.

Manifolds are designed with a specific application in mind. You can have bottom end torque, or, you can have upper RPM power, not both. (unless you use forced induction.) The manifold you linked is a single plane, designed for higher RPM, the Hughes unit is a dual plane, little more in line with what you have in mind for a truck.
