Just to be sure , "if" i had fire and dumped a litle gas in the throtle body butterflies it should kick , right ?
Not if you aren't getting any spark. You need to concentrate on that and find out why there is no spark. If the coil is sparking then you've ruled that out as a problem.
If you're getting power to the coil while cranking, it's not the cam sensor. Maybe a bad dizzy cap/rotor?
A bad/faulty cam sensor can cause very strange issues, so I wouldn't rule that out just because there is spark. A faulty distributor cap or even a bad connection from the cam sensor to the pigtail will cause firing/running issues.

From what I'm told the computer waits to see the signal from the cam sensor when you crank the engine before it will power the ASD relay, giving power to the coil, injectors and fuel pump.
