Exclamation Truck wont start

I have a 1994 Ram 1500 5.2 with 190,000
went to start it today cranked over and than just stopped. The starter isnt working. I checked the voltage to the starter and it was getting power. Replaced the ignition key swithch, and starter. The truck still doesnt crank the batter is fully charged and terminals have contact.

You may have gotten a junk starter, now that I have thought about it the solenoid and starter are one piece, either take it back and get a new one or you could try wacking it with a hammer, the solenoid may be stuck and this has been known to help.

If it were me though I would take it back and get a new one. IMO replacing the ignition switch was a little brash.

Check the relays and fuses in the side of the dash and the PDC. Also check all the ground wires. Start with the negative battery terminal lug and cable.

Glad you got it fixed. You should post how and where you found the bad link. Might help someone trouble shooting the same problem in the future.
