Default Cylinder Misfire before it get warmed up

so i still have a cylinder 4 misfire and i still havent fixed it. dont really want to spend the money to get it fixed. but it baffles me, when i first start it up and drive it you can hear it missing and popping, every few engine rotations it will fire. if i get on it for a 1/8th of a mile the cylinder will go back to running fine. i get all my power back and it sounds like it should. what the heck causes this? the last time i checked for compression i was at 90 psi dry and 120 psi wet. is 120 enough for the cylinder to start firing right again? or does it have something to do with heat?

Just thinking out loud, but could it be a bad plug wire at the connection? Once it gets warmed, the metal expands enough to prevent further issues.

Check the injector wire and plug too. Actually, that could be a sticking valve or valve seat maybe.

the plug isnt fouled. it looks to be alright to me. is there any way i can check for a stuck valve? maybe check for compression when its cold and then check it again when its warm?

No! LOL sorry. 9 times out of ten, if it dies or won't start after it's warmed up, the CPS is the prob.

With the engine running unplug the injector plug and check the resistance with a volt-meter: it should be between 13 and 15 ohms.

Muffler bearings could be stuck causing a restriction in the exhaust port.
