I only like it loud at WOT. And most trucks are loud at WOT.

Idling and loud is annoying. I could not stand my last truck with sidepipes and a gutted cat.

I can't explain why I missed that. I lthought I did a thorough search of Magnaflow product line. Buying that would have saved me a little money as compared to buying the y pipe plus cat I used. Oh well I'll remember it for next time if this one ever goes.

Just out curiousity, since we are talking about exhaust....
What could I put on my truck that would flow better (stock cat too ), sound almost stock at idle, good while driving, and scream at higher rpms or WOT?
I believe part of my exhaust is 3in, I haven't checked for sure though.
BTW, no drone at highway speeds either.

Anything?

Exhaust before the turbo.

And pulling it out the shop for the first time with the turbo.

True duals would be even better. You are looking at paying about 1000+ for all that work.

Do you really want a truck that is more slow than it is loud? Because you won't be winning any races with a stock engine.

FYI, a 5.0 mustang and IROC camaro came from the factory faster than our trucks by about 4 seconds. That is a LOOOOOOONG time.
We'll actually you could, if it's a v-8 yes, I got my truck to go 0-60 in 6.8 sec. I had had a few mods not not a whole new engine. Fast as hell I race that thing all the time.

The magnaflow high flow cat really changes the sound. I have an offbrand 1 into 2 muffler and probably gunna go to a Flowmaster 44 since I heard good about them.
