I need to change my AC/Heater/Ventilation Control on my 1997 Dodge Ram Pickup but I don't know if it has Aux Cooler or not. How can I check to make sure I buy the right part?

If you don't mind the question, why do you need to change it?

I see where that can be confusing. But is the **** broke or the cable or the blend door itself busted? Have you removed the heat/ac switch console and looked at it? Sounds like this might be the issue https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ild-vents.html

LOL! That's obvious to us maybe, but why would it matter as far as the HVAC switches go on the dash?

That was my question as well...... I really don't quite get what an aux cooler (for the trans?) has anything to do with HVAC controls. Or, was there an option for a back seat outlet with its own evap core on our trucks? I have never seen one..... (but that doesn't mean they don't exist.)
