Its remote start, hence the little remote thingy you use to start it, all rams that I know of are electric start.....But if you want remote start you have a couple options you can get just a remote start module that just turns it on and off or you can get the whole alarm that comes with remote start.

I have an excalibur alarm with remote start in my truck cost me $100 bucks on ebay and my neighbor and I installed it, the place I bought it from sent the wiring diagram for my truck with the alarm and it basically is match the colored wires with the other corresponding colored wires, it seems overwhelming but if you pay attention to what your doing and take your time its no harder than wiring in some speakers.

Same alarm I have http://cgi.ebay.com/EXCALIBUR-AL-182...item1e5df849e3 its $109 with free shipping

I got a harness from Greg that you just plug into your stock setup and hook the remote start into it. Suppose to make it simple. I haven't gotten around to getting a remote start yet to see if it makes life easy. I have been thinking about one for a while though, **** I've had this harness since before I got the truck running I think lol. It would be nice for when the pager goes off I could hit the button and the wideband would be warming up before I get in the truck.

Glad you started this thread. Maybe I'll be able to pick one out as well

Hey, does that mean I can finally get rid of the hand crank that I took from my tractor?

No, you may need it to get some ones (such as a thief or mugger) attention.

I love mine in the winter. just remember to trun off your wipers off at night or u will burn out the motor if they stick to the glass.(depending on how its wired). Let someone else install it well worth if. only cost me 50 to have some one put it in.

Remote start would have saved me a lot of time not having to crawl under the truck and using a screw driver to short the starter on the last AT truck I owned when we jacked-up the thing up hitting a bolder during elk season. The looks we got at the fuel station...LOL!

However, I'm NOT allowed to have one till the wif gets one.
