Default How do I remove the cylinder head

Hey what's involved in removing the cylinder head?

Having trouble with the exhaust manifold bolt. Got them all off except the one going to the muffler.

Is the Head heavy?

Do I have to drain the oil?

to get the manifold bolt off, try using a new rust penetrant called SEARCH. it just came out on the market a couple months ago, it works great. some say its better than pb blaster. it could also be that your muffler bearing is rusted solid. good luck.

I believe that it's known as STFW now that it's in full market release.

Yeah if that muffler bearing gets all rusted up its damn near impossible to get that apart, I dont think that the search will help that much, might try a glow plug to heat it up.
