Pulled the battery and put it on the charger over night. Cleaned the ever living crap out of the terminals and the connectors. Neg connector has a nasty habit of crusting over. Haven't had a problem since. so long as I keep the terminals clean..one of these days I'll slather them up.

Ironically, ended up having the same thing happen in the DD, turns out the neg cable was just loose. Now I've got a spare battery in the garage.
I have had an intermittent no-start condition due to this same problem and bad grounds elsewhere.

That's a failed post seal, so the battery's on its way out. If it's got any warranty left it'd be a good time to get it replaced since it's heading that direction anyway and winter's just around the corner.

Yank the distributor, taking note of which way the rotor is pointing before you pull it. It is FAR easier to work on, on a bench... than it is behind the intake.

Yeah but i cant get at the hold down bracket and bolt. I am thinking about taking the intake out. Good / Bad idea? Not an easy area to work back there.
