i got a powertrax lock right locker for the rear im selling for 300. def use an aussie locker on the front i was running the aussie locker up front and the lock right out back and there was nothing that my truck wouldnt crawl over and mud was a joke to it. ive done a one ton axle swap now and love it. sorry i sold my front axle the day I pulled it. i pulled the locker out of the rear because my ring was missing a few teeth.

For the Ram 4x4's with the CAD setup, your best bet (if it's a street or daily driver) is an ARB or Ox Locker that you can disengage completely when not needed.
Reason being is that in stock form, the side/spider gears turn constantly while driving in 2wd. Throw a Detroit style locker in that front end, and you'll be turning the front driveshaft constantly as well which will add to the wear and tear, and you'll lose some fuel economy as well. If that's not an issue for you, a clutch style locker will work great and probably be cheaper as well.
A quick fix I've done for a few guys is to shim up the side gears which tightens up the front diff somewhat. It's not as good as a limited slip, but is an improvement over the stock open diff.
