Yes to the 02 senor. Not sure on the "fix" it was done for me about 6 mos. ago I want to say he did away with it.

Not something you can 'do away' with. My guess is, he just changed the gasket, which is inadequate to the task. Were I you, I would be having a gander down my throttle body again, and see what things look like.

Yes, much oil at all (especially pooling) is bad.
