Default Superchips

So i got a superchips finally and i am very impressed with what it has done for my truck. I get really good mileage and improved power running 91 octane on the mileage setting. When running 87 octane on the same tune it seems to have less power and less mileage. Any suggestions what is the best combination of tune and octane of fuel for the best mileage and power?

It seems that the tow tune (with 91 octane fuel) is the hot ticket for mileage and power with a Superchips. The performance tune chews through fuel, and the economy tune in many cases gives less fuel economy than the tow tune. But depending upon the price differential between 87 and 91 in your locale, it might be more economical to run the economy tune anyway.

I actually noticed the opposite of this. I couldn't figure out why I was only getting 10mpg, then I realized that I left the tuner on "tow tune". I switched it to "economy tune" and after a couple tanks I was getting around 14mpg. I did notice some spark nock with the economy tune though.

I really think we need Dyno specs....because almost everyone would say that theirs works better. I use the Hypertech

sean with sct is know for the sct he worked hard to get the perfect air/fuel ratio for all trucks, and he also takes off torque management which superchips or hypertech does NOT, which also makes a big diffrence
