oil pressure gauge-drops-wheres op sensor?
My oil pressure just drops to the bottom of the gauge and red light comes.
I can turn trk off and it will wrk again and then while again driving she just drops again.
Where is the oil pressure sensor located on a 99 5.9 360?
Any other ideas on the gauge dropping to the bottom?

you might be sucking up a blockage onto the pickup screen that's dropping off when you shut off the truck.
you need to determine, without damaging the motor, whether the oil pressure drop is real, or just a false reading on the gauge. the safest way to do this is to screw in a manual gauge in place of the sending unit.
if the pressure drop is real, you could try changing the oil and filter. it might fix it. if not you'll need to drop the pan and check the screen. since you'll be looking at the oil pump, you might as well replace it.
