There are two definitions for Prerunner, The Toyota prerunner, and the Prerunner used to Pre run the 250, 500 and Baja 1000 trails. Its certainly is not a Toyota...
Right, and your truck is far from either. It's just a pickup. No long or even mid travel, I don't see a bedcage or cantilever setup, no arms or glass, no engine/cabcage.
I'm not trying to be an ***, but don't call it something it's not.
a sct tuner would help with ur performance i would get the lift u want and then the 33s and see if u like how the setup is and if u dont then get the 4.10 gears to help it

Prerunner is both a class, and, a designation. ANY truck that runs the course BEFORE the actual race would be designated as a 'pre-runner'.
[QUOTE=dodgeman52;2289885]i would look to make sure ur plenum is not bad and also get the cat and get the sct tuner and u will be surpised of the difference it will make[/QUOT
Now there is some good advise I couldn't agree with more.

Lol there is no "prerunner" class. There are tons of different classes with the various organizations. SCORE, SNORE, MINT, etc. If you want to be technical, then my old Honda Civic qualifies as a prerunner, as I used it to drive down part of the course at the Parker 250 last year. Off topic, my bad.

class, type, whatever. and yes, your civic would qualify. all depends on how ya wanna use the term. Your usage is just significantly stricter definition than others.
Thanks guys for all the valuable information. I am going to do the lift, decide if I need to go bigger in tires, if so see how it performs and go from there. Thanks for helping a newb out. This is all new to me.
