Sad day for my Ram
I work about 15 miles out of town. On my drive home tonight, I got caught up in a hail storm of about 1" to 1.5" diameter. It is just wide open country out there, so no place to pull over for cover, not even a single tree along the side of the road.
Hood, roof, and the top edges of the doors, front quarter panels, and bed sides are all pretty beat up. Even lost a lense on one of my fog lights. I'll post some pics later tonight or tomorrow when I get a chance.

That does suck. I had a 93 Dakota and the same thing happened to it last summer while I was at work. Insurance considered it totaled and I bought it back and drove it for a while. It looked like ****. The only thing that wasn't hit by the hail was the passenger door and ext cab. I know how who must feel. Well not exactly because looks like your truck was a lot nicer than my Dakota but I know about how you feel. Sucks big time.
Thats too bad, hail is wicked when its that size but hey if ya decide to total it, can I buy your ignition system. We can start like a donor list thing, and all the members can carry around a beeper and when a Ram is close to demise, the beeper goes off, and we can harvest parts before it dies, sorry just a little humor, but I feel for ya

Damn, and I just got new gears too. Guess I could swap out both axles if I get another Ram.
Or, I could just keep it and turn it into a beater. I could start off roading all the time and let the trees and rocks cover up my hail damage.

You may be able to get it to a good body shop and they will take care if it, if not it must be pretty bad, I dont think i have never seen one that was damaged enough to total it out, so please post some pics or send them to bamory@bright.net, got my curiosity going as to the damage
