Might have to do some grinding on some steering parts to get the 15" rims to clear. I would pass......

Or, you can get some wheel spacers. And see if that will help too?

Default A better Question. . . .

So i guess a better question is what should i be looking for. I;m pretty sure stock wheels as 16x7. Just so im claer that mean 16in tall by 7in wide? And as for tire sizing the first numbers in the sequence are the heighth correct? so a 265 would be 27in? Am i way off? I have a feeling i am! Dont usually mess around withmy truck spend most of my time modding my jet ski so i know next to nothing about this stuff.

ok on the trucks with the dual piston calipers it hit and miss with 15's fitting most have to grind a little so I would stick with 16 inch rims or bigger

If it's metric sized ex. 285/75/16 the 285 is the width in mm the 75 is aspect ratio and 16 is rim size(in inches this tire would be about a 33in tall tire that is 11.5 inches wide.

this link should help you with figuring out tire sizes

Default Aspect Ratio

So what exactly is the aspect ratio. Are most tires metric?

Aspect ratio is the ratio of the of the sidewall in relation to the width of the tire.

ex. 285/75/16 if you take the width of the tire which is 285mm(11.22in) and times that by the aspect ratio .75(75%) you get 213.75mm(8.415in) now that is equal to one side of the sidewall so you take 213.75(8.415) and double it you get 427.5mm(16.83in) now add that to the size of the rim 16in(406.4mm) you get 32.83in(833.9mm)

And yes on 16in rims and bigger most tires sold are in metric sizes, 15in rims are really the only size rim that still is measured in standard size

Hope you got the math part, might be a little confuseing if you need more let me know
