Default Alrighty Then Tranny Issues

Im changing my Trany Fluid and filter today ,also going to clean Gs and sensor. However take a look at this pic as you can see there are some frayed wires . HELP!!!!




And Just so you know . It wont shift into 3 or 4 and reverse has a lag before it catches.

Well the above pic and cry for help seems moot at this point. Look what I found in the pan. Seems to be aluminum and very brittle . It was in a curled up state before i picked it out of the pan.

adjust your bands while your in there, worst case scenario, it get a little better.

Only adjust them if you know what your doing. Worst case scenario you can screw your tranny up a lot worse.

If the wires are frayed you need to replace the TC lockup and OD solenoids, they come with that harness.

If you can drop your transmission pan and change the filter, you can adjust the bands. If not, you have no business being in there in the first place.

Thats what I was waiting to hear!
How do you think they got that way?
I will adjust the bands while Im down there . Step by step with the haynes Manual.

Those wires getting like that , I won't say common, but it does happen with these trannies.

So when I buy these parts they come with a new harness?

Also , where can I buy these parts? Ive looked at Azone and Advanced online and there a NO GO!

those frayed "wires" look more like a frayed wire loom to me.
