Default Which Spark Plugs to get???

Im getting a Tune Up kit for my 99 ram 318 4x4 and was wondering which spark plugs are the best ive read good things about the E3 plugs and the Autolight iridium plugs wondering which are better?? also do plug wires really matter if i get the MSD wires or the Bosh wires or even the cheap ones??

If you've got the factory coil your best bet is to avoid the expensivum (platinum or iridium) plugs which likely won't fire properly on the lower voltages produced by the factory coil. NGK V-Power and the Autolite 3923 seem to be the best bets.

The cheesier wires will have to be routed IAW the TSB for plug wire routing or they'll be prone to inductive cross-fire. Whether you'd rather spend more or just take more time doing it is something only you can decide.

Oh, I thought you needed to route the spark plugs by the TSB even if they are 8mm+ wires.

Man i am still spending time to route them correctly!!

Wait, I have headers, I still need to have them neat.

Whatever you get, make sure they are NOT E3's. ALOT of DF memebers have had problems with this plug including myself. Put them in and instantly got 3 cylinder misfires.

Get Champs Copper Tip

NGK Iridiums

Autolite 3923

Autolites won't go well with my truck. Fuel economy goes downhill and I get a misfire on #5. The truck also runs sluggish as well. Stock Champions FTW!
