Question Steering stabilizer

I am purchasing a 3" suspension lift, should I replace the steering stabilizer at the same time? Also should I upgrade to the dual stabilizer kit? This is my first truck so I am unsure of what exactly the advantage of them is or why they are needed. Thanks.

Nice Truck! it would probably be a good idea to change the shock out. As for going to a duel most of the time 35's and larger its a good time to switch to duels.

Thank you. I just ordered the dual stabilizer just to be safe. It's a work in progress. I've only had it for 2 months.

Yep. Toss the original. Or, add it to the scrap metal pile.

You really don't need one at all. My race truck, and most of the trucks I've built have never needed them.

i run 38 bias plys and for the first while i just bought the skyjacker it that just bolts into the factory position, it worked just fine and got rid of that wick death wobble. Since then i have just ripped that mounting bracket off the frame and built a drop bracket for it, while still running just a single shock, it works great. So as long as your factory shock isnt blown, dont waste your money
