how does this 360 short block sound?
I dont want the heads i want to buy iron ram 2.02's
fresh rebuilt dodge magnum 360
specs :
98 360 block
stock rods resized with arp bolts
bored .030 over
new cam bearings
crankshaft ground mains .010 rods .010 acl bearings used
kieth black pistons -5cc flat top piston with file fit rings
comp cams hyd roller 20-745-9 212/218 duration .480 .480 lift
new oil pump
heavy duty felpro head gaskets
complete rotating assembly was balanced to below .5 grams
new true time double roller timing chain
new front cover
gasket set
dampner and flex plate for a 360 "externally balanced engine"
16 new roller lifters
16 new pushrods
the cylinder heads
99 318 castings
fully ported runners and bowl area intake flowed 220 at .500 lift exhaust 180 .500 lift
positive seals on valves
16 new valves
fresh valve job
Chevy ls-1 beehive valve springs for the more lift cam
milled .006
combustion chamber of the cylinder head has been modified
from a closed chamber 65cc to an open chamber 78cc for better flow and accept
the flat top piston and keep the compression ratio to 10.0:1
I also have all the accessories that goes with the engine mounts and brackets
and if you dont try to beat me up on price ill toss in a set of edelbrock shorty headers
the engine is still in short block mode with the heads on the shelf so you can see what you are buying

right now it looks like im going to buy this 408 in short block form. any objections? will the flat top pistons be a problem with the 2.02 iron ram heads? i am planning to get the 2.02 heads and airgap intake for it and drive it like that and continue to buy more performance parts as the funds become available... will that work?

ok and i noticed you said it should hit around 300rwhp in the discussion thread. will those 2.02 heads be good with the flat tops? he said the cam was installed straight up, but i guess i could buy a new timing chain set to get it 4 degrees advanced.
anything i should be concerned about, things i should look at when looking over the engine? since i dont know this guy i dont want my new engine dropping a rod.

going to MD to look at that built 360, what to look for?
ok im going to MD on sunday to look at and probably buy this 360: http://wheeling.craigslist.org/pts/2015898988.html just the short block though, not the heads, im gettn iron ram 2.02's. what should i look for?
