. . .though I think all 2500 have Dana 60s front and rear. I know all 2500 diesels do, but they need the extra up front due to the weight of the diesel engine.
2nd gens did. 3rd gens have AAM axles front and rear on the 2500's. 9 inch in the front and 11.5 in the back. now if only AAM would put out a good ball joint for my 2500[&:]

.
Silver -

Ours came with the 4.10 (4.11) ratio. It has a tendancy to downshift on hills on the highway with the current 35's though. Hopefully that will stop with new rubber. I'm looking for ATs in a D. So far we're looking at 2 candidates... the BFG AT KO, and one from Big O - the Big Foot X/T which looks kinda like a medium between a AT and MT.

It looks bigger than the current 35"s, but I guess once mounted and aired up, they squat somewhat. We'll see. We still may go with the BFG. Need to see what you all have found that works best. The BFGs on our ZJ worked great up in Alaska.

Found out more on the 'Snow Plow Prep Package"... stealership says that we have beefier front coils... "The largest Chrysler makes" according to him. Blah blah blah. Maybe that's why it rides kinda stiff. I like how the front end sits level.
