Default uneven tire wear

My truck has had 2 front end aliments in the last two mounts and is going for another on 11/11/10. I am having uneven wear on the outside edge of the pass side front tire. I have a shake at 70-80MPH. I has 4 new ball joints and two new axle u-joints. I know it needs new shocks but would that cause this? What about the axle/hub bearing? What would cause this?
EDIT: I jacked up the truck today and took a pipe and put it under the tire and pry-ed up to see if there was any play in the hub and no movement
I think I am going to buy a set of rough country nitro 9000 shocks tommrow

a slight shake at 80 mph on a solid axle 4x4 truck is not bad at all! mine shakes violently at 65 mph on certain roads. but rides straight and smooth on others.

When you had the truck in the air to check for wheel bearing play, did you also spin the wheel and listen carefully to the bearing. It should sound very smooth.

How old are the bearings?

Can you take a pic of the uneven wear and post it up?

How often do you rotate your tires?
