MPGs, does anyone know?
I have a 96 Dodge Ram 2500, 3" lift, BF Goodrich A/T's, stock body, stock V10... Does anyone know the MPG's of this truck??? I just bought it, but I cant seem to find ANY information on it in this regard! How strange... So, does anyone know?? Let me know! Also, any tips on getting BETTER MPG's? I know, I know, its a monster of a truck, but any improvements always help. lol.
Depends on how much they want for it, and what you intend to use it for.... what kind of shape it is in, how many miles are on it, how well it was taken care of, and if it was abused........
If the price was reasonable, and the truck was actually worth what they were asking, and it suited my purposes, I wouldn't hesitate.
Yes, it IS a gas hog. You can't have a motor that big, and expect "good" gas mileage out of it.

Well, I know it wont get good gas mileage. Not my concern... My concern is, they dont have an MPG listed for the V10 motor and I would like to know what it is, so I can guage trips and such. I have been told 11-16, 11-12, 5-16....So, If ANYONE knows what is is, that would be great!
Its a 96, I financed it, so its about $13,000. It only has 86k miles. The engine (V10) and drivetrains runs VERY good. The body is in good condition as well as the inside. No rust. BF Goodrich A/T's....An all around good truck
I wouldn't use a V10 as a DD, but wouldn't mind towing with it.
Daily driving will get too costly...thats a big tank in that suck when it gets down to the cash....

^Good man.

Info is very hard to find on the V10's, as there weren't as many made as 8's or CUMMINS trucks. So you'll prolly have to play it by ear and record your own mileage stuff.
There ARE still a couple guys on the forum that have V10's, but I can't give you their user names off the top of my head.
