If you ever plan on doing gears, you'll need a swing-style to set bearing pre-load. I got a Parker (bicycle tools) for around $25. Just something to think about.

You talking this place? I'm not exactly sure what swing-style is.

Swing Style is the Beam type, with the pointer swinging across a calibrated gauge at the handle end.

Ah, I get it, as opposed to the gauge being on the opposite end of the hand, since that would make it tough to read. Hmm.

The 'other' version is the 'click' style. has a micrometer-like handle to set desired torque, and 'clicks' when you get there.

I have also seen the beam style that has a rotary gauge......
