Default Catch Cans....

Anybody use them? We run them on both of our Hemi cars and they catch quite a bit before it gets into the intake...common Hemi problem

This is what we run...

http://www.custombilletstore.com/product_p/20010.htm

It catches more than would think between oil changes.

I use a cheap-o oil catch can from ebay on my RAM and I use a home-built $20 catch can on my NEON. They both catch alot of oil before going into the intake. I fab'd up a custom bracket for the catch on on my RAM. A generic ebay catch can can be had, with hardware for as little as $35.

Engines have have a tendacy to pull oil into the intake throught the pcv tube, casuing oil buildup in the intake and TB. This causes poor performance and light smoke on start up on occasion.

Another version offered by BT...

built one, caught maybe a half teaspoon of oil in 3 months. Not worth it IMO.
