408 stroker build
A sonic check will tell the tale. At least, it should.......
Been watching as you carry on with your 408. You are probably ready to scream by now. Personally speaking I would find a new block if there are any questions or doubts about your current block. At this stage you are already well into it so insure the true strength of your engine is good.
There are tons of good 5.9 blocks out there that can be had fairly cheaply(got mine for $150 with rods) You are doing a very thorough job so I hope things work out for you.

well i appreciate it man.
the issue; however, is not the cost of a bare 360 block, but the cost of a 360 block fully machined, then bored and "stroked" (so to speak) to a 408.
i have no doubts yet, just worries
sonic check will tell the tale, and then i can begin to doubt, or carry on with the build

does this look like what i would need to run EVERYTHING? i figured i might as well, im tired of the wild vents i have now with 17" of vac. with this its always a steady supply... seems like a good idea, not to mention vac leaks wont cause any engine trouble
climate, 4x4, cruise (maybe), brakes... i cant use it for PCV can I?
