I got mine for around $2k, so far I've got about $2300 in it. Looking at having to buy a $700 junkyard motor just to get thru winter. After that I'm certain the rear axle will die.

 

Thats like mine, bought it for 6k and i have about $2k into it and I just found out the rear end is shot...SOAB

 

We built it to use it, since we do a lot of towing for our business, hauling, etc. So, we didn't ever expect to sell it for what we have into it... however, we also never expected to have so much into it before we even DROVE it. LOL

Well, we did find the problem...

 

you should look at the bright side. it would probably cost you 3-4 times what you have into it to buy a brand new truck and customize it to the way you want.

 

at this rate, it pretty much is a brand new truck LOL


BTW... does anyone know why the word "v1rtual" is blocked? It shows up as a bunch of stars.....

And the front timing cover is hosed. Finding a good used one now. No more new ones are available from the dealer.

I'd bet that by throwing the 1 in there you've triggered the mostly unintelligent electronic morals police to censor the word as being a potential cuss word. In other words in the way others have spoofed the allowance of cusswords by misspelling with numbers looking like letters, the newer generation policing software likely filters all such words being to dumb to know a cuss word from a politically correct albeit purposefully misspelled word.

Just guessing though.
