About the rust, I got the ziebart professional package for 750 bucks. Or you can get JUST the underbody protection for about 189.

I got the panel sealer, Underbody/Sound deadener, and diamond gloss for 750 bucks. Money well worth it. Also, I got it for my wife's Yukon.

I highly recommend ziebart undercoating, especially if you live in a snowy salty area. If you plow, then you really need it.

It could be. My plan is to remote turbo it though and have the intakes for the turbos integrated into the bed of the truck.

On the outside please. Inside the bed is a low pressure area. That, and if you are hauling a load of sand..... way bad.

I already took care of all the rust. It's just some of the other old parts giving me hell. This truck will eventually be brand new when I'm dead... and I'll be dead because this truck killed me.

I'm sure the turbos won't care about "low pressure" lol.

My doors were actually in really good shape. Just some minor surface rust. Nothing a little "all metal" couldn't take care of.

Can't believe I missed this thread so long either (but just got here in July). Truck looks great! My project will cost me more that the book value of the truck (but not by as much, hopefully) but part of it is to build the truck better than it came out of the factory, and the satisfaction of doing the work. In my line of work, it is good therapy.
