My '96 2500 Overhaul
Ordered up all of the mounting hardware for the front control arms. Apparently I may have ordered the last set that was available. It may just be the last set that the local warehouse has, but either way, it looks like the hardware is becoming scarce. I have Energy Suspension bushings coming in tomorrow, so I should have them all mounted up by the end of the day.
New power steering pump is on. I had to order a new pulley since the old one was totally fubar'd and stuck to the old pump. All new power steering lines are on as well.
Looks like the crank and rod bearings will all be here before the end of the week so I can wrap this baby up for the weekend. Then, I need to schedule an appointment for an alignment *sigh*.

Oh, and the machine shop down the street dropped off the ramps they made me for my 2 car trailer. They are a bit overkill, but... that's what I do

Ooooh, and I picked up a new winch for the trailer as well. I had a 20% off coupon for Harbor Freight.

I wouldn't put an iron block V10 in a car. Once I get my new garage built, I plan on buying a Viper. I've wanted to do a Viper drivetrain swap into a Stealth, but I may just buy a Viper instead LOL.
I considered buying a diesel truck, but I'd rather stick to a gas engine.

While the v10's are no diesels, they are TONS of fun and will pull just about anything. My dad had one (99 QC LB 4X4 auto), lets just say he wasn't the only one who enjoyed hoggin the thing sideways taking up three lanes whenever conditions were right
Refurbished the front control arms with new urethane bushings. Glass beaded the arms and painted them.

New sway bar end link urethane bushings

New sway bar bushings and a shot at the new steering gear box

And the Timbren rear suspension helpers.

Next up, rod bearings and reassemble the front end of the engine.

Dads v10 auto QC LB 4X4, same as in this thread, and with 3.55's, but a 99, got 9.5 around town, driving like a normal person. He could grandma the thing and get almost 11 in town. 13 on freeway unloaded. His didn't lockup till around 55 or 60 if i remember correctly, at which point it ran at very low rpm's, since it was such a torque monster.
