i was just curious if anyone has done this on the site ? i did alittle searching but havnt found anything.. ive only seen 3 on the net all together im guessing mine will be number 4 haha
also if anyone is from Pa 717.. do you know what kind of emissions problems im going to run into.. id like to go too the basics 6pack shaker hood, no computers no gizmos just mopar and maybe a blower down the road

i think the hardest part would be making custom motor mounts if it wont bolt in. other wise electrical should be easy. you can pretty much hotwire the 440 and you could try using the sensors from 318. should be able to most of the gauges working.
Haha oh man. Ur entire truck is not going to work. You're going to need gauges, motor mounts, new crossmember, new cooling system, new transmission, new driveshaft, and all the hard parts that go with an engine.
Ur looking at over 10k. Have fun!

he said the engine is coming with a transmission. a drive shaft should not be too hard to track down. i know on the older dodge trucks they had 2 different size of universal joints for the drive shafts and i doubt that has changed. it should not cost over 10k.
If there are emissions testing laws in place where the OP is, putting the older motor into a newer truck will NEVER pass.
Although, a 440 in a second gen would ensure an adequate amount of power.
